Ms. Morales is an experienced litigator whose current practice focuses on the resolution of complex construction-related disputes, contract disputes and product liability. In addition, she provides business consulting for developers and contractors for ongoing and new projects.

Her approach in handling a case is tailored to the client’s goals with efficiency and cost-effectiveness as a foundation.  Ms. Morales has successfully represented owners, developers and general contractors including:

  • Obtaining a complete defense for her clients by prevailing on a motion for summary judgment in a dispute involving a foreign jurisdiction, and thereafter obtaining an award for attorney’s fees and costs
  • Local and Fortune 500 companies in matters involving single-family homes, condominiums and high rise buildings
  • Resolution of claims prior to the inception of litigation
  • Defense verdict in a civil arbitration involving a boom truck transporting logs
  • Settlement of multi-million dollar claims, inclusive of releases from primary and additional insurer carriers

Ms. Morales has also practiced in a variety of civil litigation areas including personal injury claims, premises liability, contract disputes, property, products liability and environmental torts.

Prior to law school, she was the spokesperson for various landowners in Monterey County with respect to pre-1914 water rights and allocations before local, county and state government forums.  Ms. Morales has also clerked with the U.S. Attorney’s office and Department of Water Resources, as well as supervised some of the community service clinics at McGeorge School of Law, which included the development of several databases.  Following her graduation from law school in 2002, she served as a prosecutor with the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office wherein she tried over a dozen jury and bench trials.
