Ms. Arbiter joined Balestreri Potocki & Holmes in 2018.  Her practice includes construction litigation, personal injury litigation and real property litigation.
Prior to practicing law, Ms. Arbiter worked in the title insurance industry. In 2006, she fulfilled a long-term career objective and obtained her law degree. Upon graduating from law school, Ms. Arbiter joined a firm that specialized in real property matters where she litigated disputes involving mechanics liens, loan fraud, bank lien priority, and insurance bad faith claims.  Since 2014, Ms. Arbiter has been representing developers and general contractors in complex construction defect matters with a successful track record of efficiently resolving multi-party construction defect claims for her clients.  Representative cases include:

  • Defense of general contractor in litigation involving high rise mixed use project with alleged defects involving steel framing, concrete slabs, welding, dewatering, excavation, and shoring walls.
  • Defense of general contractor for independent living facility against allegations of defective plumbing.
  • Defense of planned community developer in suit involving allegations of defects in HVAC system.
  • Defense of developer and general contractor in suit involving common area grading, slopes, fencing, drainage, retaining walls, and finishes.
  • Defense of developer of planned communities throughout California in multiple construction defect suits alleging a variety of SB800 violations. 
  • Defense of transportation services company and drivers.

In her free time, Ms. Arbiter enjoys golf and hiking.
